Meet Us
At Inspiration Homes, we have over 16 years of experience in the construction industry. Incorporated in 2006, Inspiration Homes has been established as a boutique homebuilder in Central Alberta.
Building the home of your dreams starts with building an honest relationship with you. Because of our German roots, we bring in a broader perspective of what is trending in the European housing market and make state-of-the-art products available for our clients in Central Alberta.
We have remained a “small volume” builder, allowing us to devote attention to the smallest details. Throughout the construction of your home, you will be in direct contact with Konstantin Shtrek, our company owner and project supervisor.
When you build with us, we will ensure that the whole building process, from the initial design to the moment you move in, is enjoyable and transparent.
With every build opportunity, large or small, we ensure that your inspirations and expectations are met.
Many of our products, like windows and doors, are sourced from Europe and ensure the highest standards and quality that is rarely available on the Canadian market.
Honest Relationship. Highend Results.
Questions to Konstantin:
Konstantin, how do you describe the relationship with your customers?
“Our relationship is built on honesty and transparency. For me, it’s important to get to know our clients and make sure that their expectations are met. That being said, I also give you my honest feedback on what the best solution is for your project. Transparency is super important to us. Our clients you know exactly where their money goes at any point in the process. We don’t upcharge on materials used for the home build. We don’t have any alliances or agreements with specific suppliers. The final decision is on the client’s side.”
You recently mentioned that customers have oftentimes a limitation of choice when it comes to building their dream home. Can you explain what exactly you mean by that?
“Sure. Let’s look at a million-dollar home in comparison to a $400K home. You will see that certain materials are the same, even though there should be a difference in quality and not just the size of the house. The limitation could be the usage of siding materials, lighting, flooring, doors, or windows. The options to choose from are mostly given by the homebuilder, and as a customer, you have to choose within a certain variety. But maybe you want doors that provide noise cancellation or windows with triple insulation to cut down on energy costs. Most homebuilders can’t give you individual options because they have already preselected the available materials. We give our customers the choice to choose exactly what they want to get high-end results.”
Your approach to integrating new technology and building green to cut down energy costs for your customers is very progressive. Can you share a bit about your approach:
“Our clients are looking for solutions that help them reduce the environmental footprint they leave behind. When it comes to building your dream home, it means that we have to be open to new technologies. Looking for solutions that reduce energy consumption is one approach that we take. That’s why we get inspired by other countries that are leading in new technology, like Germany for example. The windows and doors that we use in our homes set world-class standards in passive house innovation and reduce noise by 90-95%. Another example is that we are one of a few home builders that uses a construction method called ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) which saves up to 60% energy.”
